The workshop starts with the analysis of selected phenomena both in the domestic interior and in the urban context. The researched contents are to be translated into meaningful images. The resulting images are part of a manual: Italy explained in ten fragments.
Based on texts, visual material and film, specific themes of contemporary Italy are to be researched and illustrated.
The workshop is specifically aimed at students with an interest in representation and graphics. The workshop is part of the research project and publication "L'ultimo Grand Tour". Its aim is the critical study and reflection of architectural-urban aspects of historical and contemporary Italy.
